6th Bhimbhai Mehta Award

Nagar Association of Greater American Regions (NAGAR) is very happy to announce and welcome Ms. Pratima Mehta and Late Bhimbhai Mehta family commitment to contribute 6th Bhimbhai Mehta Award to Nagar Mandal of Greater Chicago (NMGC) for hosting World Nagar Convention 2008 on July 4-6, 2008 at Chicago, IL, USA.

Ms. Pratima Mehta was first invited as a chief guest in first convention at Baltimore, MD in 1996. She has been contributing to the success of the conventions for the last several years through her guidance and through the contribution of the Bhimbhai Mehta Award, which is awarded in the memory of her father Shri Bhimbhai Mehta at every nagar conventions in USA, from 1996 through 2006, to the host local nagar association of the convention.

NAGAR takes great pleasure in extending a very warm welcome to Ms. Pratima Mehta to attend World Nagar Convention 2008 to be held in the Chicago area July 4th, July 5th and July 6th, 2008, and award the prestigious 6th Bhimbhai Mehta award to NMGC leadership for successfully hosting the World Nagar Convention 2008.

NAGAR has played an important active and passive role to promote and success of the national conventions planned every two years starting in Baltimore, MD (1996), Chicago, IL (1998), San Jose, CA (2000), Edison, NJ (2002) and Baltimore (2006).
