NAGAR has made a significant visible progress during the past four years in bringing Nagars together across the world. Our website visitors index has increased from 2500 in 2004 to a more than 88000 today. NAGAR has published a Global Nagar Directory in 2006 with more 1100 members and our community had a very successful National Nagar Convention 2006 in Baltimore hosted by Nagar Association, Maryland in 2006.
Now NAGAR is moving forward to celebrate its 10th anniversary alongwith World Nagar Convention 2008 at Chicago hosted by Nagar Mandal of Greater Chicago (NMGC).
It's time for a change to elect a new Board since the current Board is working tirelessly since 2004. NAGAR in their efforts for a smooth transition to elect new committed leadership request our community help build a new storng NAGAR platform to bring all Nagars together.
NAGAR is inviting community members to become a part of the "nominating committee" that will nominate the next executive committee.
If you would like to become a member of this nominating committee or would like to recommend someone for one of the Executive Committee positions, please let us know.
The deadline for the formation of the 'nominating committee' is March 10 2008.
