Patotsav celebrated in Dubai, UAE (including photos)

Update (May 27 2007):

Photos from the Patotsav are now online. Thanks to Chetan Desai for creating the online album and to Nishtha ben Vaishnav for letting us know about it.

Due to great efforts of some young enthusiatic Nagars of the U.A.E. like Shri Kirat Desai and family, Bhavesh & Nishtha Vaishnav, Devesh Joshipura and family, Avinashbhai Vora, the nagar community in Dubai gathered almost 100 nagars for the celebration of 'patotsav' after almost 15 years. The community With determination to make it a yearly event.

The Patotsav was held at the residence of Shri Jaidev Mehta and began with brief introduction of each family, followed by recitation of Shiv Mahimna Stotra, hymns, garbas etc.

The function concluded with traditional luncheon and slogans of 'har har mahadev'.

The event was also used to create a database of all nagar families in the UAE.

Thanks to Mrs. Nishtha Bhavesh Vaishnav for the report.
