Brijenbhai Mehta, retired Vividh-Bharati announcer passed away in Ahmedabad, India

It is with deep sorrow we share the news that our Mama (maternal uncle) Brijenbhai Mehta (71) passed away this morning at Sterling Hospital Ahmedabad. He had a cardiac arrest.

He is survived by his wife Bharti Mehta, and two children son Swroop Mehta and daughter Viswaja Majmudar, Son-in-law Hardik Majmudar and a grand child Vedika Majmudar.

Brijenbhai had a long career in Akashwani Ahmedabad. He was the radio announcer in Vividhbharti Ahmedabad from where he retired.

He was a great poet writing gujarati poems under the name of Shabnam and good singer (Voice of Mohmmed Rafi) and a great communicator and had passed his MA (Arts) from Saurashtra University.
