The children of Jayendralal J. Kharod, with great sorrow, share the sudden and shocking demise of our dearly loved and respected eldest brother Dr. Mahesh Jayendralal Kharod; beloved father of Dr. Nikhil Kharod (India) and Ajay Kharod (USA).
After our father passed away in 1971, Mahesh bhai was a fatherly figure to all of us brothers and sisters. He died on January 26, 2009 at his residence in Mumbai, India. He was 78.
Dr. Mahesh J. Kharod was a great person who made a lasting impression with everyone and anyone he met. What made him such a unique and loving person was that he made everyone feel loved and important, from his siblings to even the youngest members of the family. He was loved by all, adults and children, through his youthful and nurturing nature.
He did a lot of social service to the Nagar community and other community people during his tenure as a medical doctor. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his large family of brothers, sisters, sons, and grandchildren.
