Nagar Patotsav first round was celebrated on Saturday, April 19, 2008 in many areas including Dallas & Houston, Texas, Detroit, Michigan and Baltimore, Maryland (NAM). It was truly fun filled and very successful at all the places. All our members have gratified by participating in preservation and promotion of our cultural heritage.
NAGAR Primaries/ Patotsav 2008 – Round 2 is scheduled on April 26, 2008 in many states including Chicago - IL, Atlanta - GA & NJ/NY. NAGAR wish you all a very happy, successful and fun-filled Hatkeshwar Jayanti/ Patotsav celebration on April 26, 2008.
NAGAR congratulate and salute all our community members, their volunteers and leaders to continue this inherent tradition of Patotsav and organize its celebrations year after years.
NAGAR, at the end of the first round of NAGAR Primaries, has received a real encouraging “Food for Thoughts” from the new leadership of Nagar Association Maryland (NAM). Much Kudos to NAM! NAGAR envision having enough food in the thoughts for developing a true equal partnership concept. It would be a new beginning in NAGAR history, and NAM’s contribution will always be remembered with pride!
On the eve of NAGAR Primaries/ Patotsav 2008 – Round 2, NAGAR, once again, appeal our community and members, and more particularly the volunteers and leaders of the local associations to become active partners in our mission to bring closer our community. NAGAR is revising its byelaws and request your comments/ suggestions to work in true partnership by becoming fully affiliated to better serve our community by unifying membership.
